Frank Hand is an artist who filters mythology and pop culture into explorations of spiritual meaning. He is interested in dualities: finding humor in tragedy, movement in stillness, and beauty in horror. His artistic output—often featuring a careful, graphic drawing style—reflects life’s ironic balance of disparate elements.

Born and raised in Birmingham Alabama, he attended high school in Nashville, TN and studied Fine Art at The University of the South in Sewanee, TN. He currently lives in Nashville where he plays in local bands, produces D.I.Y. comics, and works at a library.
